At Holy Cross Mercy, our pupils wear their formal uniform and a school tracksuit on designated days throughout the week. Children wear their tracksuits approximately two days per week. Days are assigned by class teachers at the beginning of the school year. Tracksuits are worn on P.E. days and days when external sports coaches visit the school (or when requested by the class teacher).

Girls’ Uniform:

• Red crested jumper
• Red formal shirt
• Grey and red tie
• Grey crested pinafore
• Dark grey, black or red tights 
• Dark grey or black socks
• Black shoes should be worn with the formal uniform

Boys’ Uniform:

• Grey crested jumper
• Grey trousers
• Red formal shirt
• Grey and red tie
• Dark grey or black socks
• Black shoes should be worn with the formal uniform

School Tracksuit:

• Crested tracksuit top
• Plain black tracksuit bottoms or leggings
• White polo shirt
• School shorts
• Runners (non-specific colour) are to be worn with the school tracksuit.

Non-crested items:

White polo shirts, black tracksuit bottoms, red formal shirts, and dark grey trousers can be purchased in local shops such as Dunnes Stores, Penneys, Marks & Spencer and Tesco.
