Afterschool & Homework Club

We offer children a place where they will enjoy spending time, relaxing and unwinding after their school day is finished. Our afterschool care plays an important role in the social and emotional development of children.

During Afterschool Club, children have the opportunities to take part in a variety of play experiences including engagement in arts and creative pursuits, physical activities, music dance, games, technology, science, nature and many more activities.

Our School Age Service takes place on the school grounds when classes finish at 1:20 and run until 4:30pm for children from 4-12yrs offering flexible and affordable out of school hours to support parents.

  • We utilise our outdoor spaces as much as possible, our programmes are child led and we have a wide range of creative and physical activities that children can partake in throughout the afternoon.
  • Indoor and outdoor activities include sport, team games, cooking, board games, arts and crafts and drama.

Introducing
HOMEWORK CLUB

As educators and parents, we understand how difficult it can be to find time in the day to sit down with your child and ensure that homework is done to a high standard . That is why we are here to help. Let us take the work out of homework for you and give you some extra free time in the late afternoon.

Within Homework Club:

  • Children have an opportunity to complete their homework in a quiet, nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Children are supervised and provided with assistance and guidance on their homework.
  • Staff will listen to all children reading and revise their spellings and tables with them.

We strive to ensure Homework Club is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all children. We promote respect, politeness, kindness, honesty, gentleness, sharing and listening make it a positive experience.
Any homework that is not completed will be noted for the parent’s attention. If children finish homework early or there is no homework assigned, fun activities will be provided until home time.
