Ghosts, ghouls, giggles and generosity, our Halloween Fancy Dress Day was a frightfully fabulous success!
From witches and wizards to pumpkins and pirates, our school was bursting with colour, creativity and cackles as students arrived in their Halloween best. The atmosphere was electric, and the spirit of fun was matched only by the spirit of giving.
A massive thank you to our boo-rilliant Student Council, led by the ever-enthusiastic Ms. Frances Arthur, who conjured up a day full of fun and fundraising. They planned, organised and coordinated every detail, and we’re so lucky to have them bringing magic to our school all year round.
This year’s Halloween Dress-Up Day supported the Kenya Education Project, a cause close to our hearts and deeply rooted in the Killarney community. Our very own Ms. Tríona Sheehy, along with her dad, Eddie and family, have been supporting the people of Embulbul in Kenya for many years, and every cent raised today will go directly towards enriching lives and education there.
It was a day full of laughter, learning and love, the perfect way to kick off the mid-term break. Thank you to everyone who donated, dressed up and joined in the fun.
Wishing you all a fang-tastic Halloween and a well-earned, restful mid-term!
