We are delighted to share the fantastic news that we have been awarded the Best Primary School Award in this year's Killarney Looking Good Competition.
We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition. It reflects the care and commitment that goes into creating a welcoming, attractive and nurturing environment for our pupils.
At Holy Cross Mercy, we place great importance on caring for our environment and helping our children develop an appreciation of nature, biodiversity and their local community. Through planting, environmental initiatives and the continued enhancement of our school surroundings, we strive to create a place where children can learn, grow and thrive.
As a school in the heart of Killarney, we are proud to support the efforts that help make our town such a beautiful place to live, work and visit. We greatly admire the dedication and vision of the Killarney Looking Good and Tidy Towns committees and are honoured to play our part in fostering environmental awareness, community spirit and a sense of responsibility among our pupils.
We are thrilled to receive this award and grateful that the work taking place in Holy Cross Mercy has been recognised. It encourages us to continue building on these efforts and to make our school a place that reflects the very best of our community.
